Rays Your Voice: Red hot road trip, roster shuffling

On this week’s episode of Rays Your Voice, we went live immediately after the end of Sunday’s series finale against Toronto and reacted to the road trip that seemed to be the start of a new chapter for the 2024 Rays. The team was playing much better baseball and had some breaks go their way, so we discuss what that means as they head back to St. Pete for a nine-game homestand.

There’s also an impending roster crunch as more players return from the injured list (good problem to have!). We debate who is on the chopping block for the next couple of weeks.

While we recorded before the news that Zach Eflin was headed to the injured list, there is still some good discussion about what the Rays will do when they are forced to decide between Harold Ramirez and Jonathan Aranda, or maybe make another off-the-wall move.
