[Men's Basketball] Saints Win Big at Stritch
Milwaukee, Wis. The Holy Cross men's basketball team continued their conference play when they traveled to Cardinal Stritch this afternoon. The Saints' ability to get points in the paint and have constant defensive pressure was clear in today's game. In the first half, Tommy Snyder led the way in scoring and rebounding with 19 first half points and 9 rebounds. Snyder's effort would give the Saints a 36-17 lead going into halftime. In the second half, Cardinal Stritch started to find their offense, but Snyder's ability to get to his spot in the paint did not slow down. The Saints had 40 points in the paint in today's game and won the rebound battle 37-34. Men's basketball would go onto win the game 74-58. With the win, Holy Cross improves to 5-8 overall and 2-5 in conference play, while Cardinal Stritch drops to 0-14 and 0-8.
