[Cross Country] Six Runners Named to NAIA Scholar-Athlete Lists
Doane Cross Country placed six runners on the 2022 NAIA-Daktronics Scholar-Athlete lists announced on Thursday. In total, 1,076 student-athletes were recognized this year in Cross Country. To be honored, a student-athlete must be of sophomore to senior academic standing and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher (on a 4.0 scale).
Three Doane seniors were selected, Jaden Hilkemann (SR/Lincoln, Neb.), Rachel Walters (SR/Gretna, Neb.), and Aidan Wheelock (SR/Minden, Neb.). Lauren Siefken (JR/Syracuse, Neb.) was the lone junior with Alyssa Plock (SO/McCool Junction, Neb.) and Thomas Oliver (JR/Lincoln, Neb.) selected in the sophomore class.
With the six honorees this year, the Cross Country program's combined men's and women's total moves to 148 honorees.
