[Outdoor Track & Field] USTFCCCA Academic Honors Announced

The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has announced their 2022 academic awards for track and field. To be eligible for awards, student-athletes must hold a cumulative 3.25 grade point average (gpa) and earn an automatic or provisional national qualifying mark during the academic year.

The Tiger men's track and field team placed 11 student-athletes on this year's list while the women's squad put seven on the list. Additionally, both teams were named to the All-Academic Team honor which is based on team cumulative GPA which needs to be at or above a 3.0.

The men's program recorded a 3.09 team GPA to earn the honor. Individuals receiving the All-Academic Athletes award were Kalen Dockweiler (JR/Callaway, Neb.), Logan Hammond (GR/Ogallala, Neb.), John Krejci (JR/Louisville, Neb.), Andrew Mahoney (JR/Beatrice, Neb.), Luke Partridge (JR/Wahoo, Neb.), Carter Reckling (JR/Crete, Neb.), Daniel Reimer (GR/Omaha, Neb.), Dylan Starr (SO/Fairbury, Neb.), Zach Turner (JR/Crete, Neb.), Chris Vincent (JR/Doniphan, Neb.), and Aidan Wheelock (JR/Minden, Neb.).

The women's program notched a 3.41 team GPA for this year's list. Individuals receiving honors were Lindsay Adams (SO/Omaha, Neb.), Alivia Baucom (SO/Rock Port, Missouri), Allie Binder (GR/Table Rock, Neb.), Macy Fuller (JR/Kearney, Neb.), Nicole Harms (JR/Sterling, Neb.), Jaden Hilkemann (SR/Lincoln, Neb.), and Sarah Theiler (JR/Arlington, Neb.).
