Fargo win streak continues.
Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks 11, Gary Southshore Railcats 3 – Box Score
The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks (21-9) took the win over the Gary Southshore Railcats (15-17) on Friday night at U.S. Steel Yard.
The RedHawks took an early lead in the top of the first as John Silviano hit a single to right field. A fielding error brought Peter Maris and Drew Ward home. Leobaldo Pina increased the lead to 3-0 off of a fielder’s choice by Rymer Liriano.
The Railcats’ Zach Weltz hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the third to bring them within one. However, the RedHawks pulled away in the sixth and seventh innings scoring five runs as Manuel Boscan hit two home runs to seal the game.
Winning pitcher Tyler Grauer pitched six innings, allowing only three runs on five hits.
