Orioles Shut Out The Rays

Friday’s 1-0 win over the Tampa Bay Rays showed why the Baltimore Orioles included Dean Kremer in the Manny Machado trade with the Dodgers.
Kremer tossed six scoreless innings against the Rays. He allowed 5 hits, walked 1 and struck out 5 but unfortunately did not factor into the decision.
Adley Rutschman went 2 for 3 with 1 RBI. He also threw out Vidal Brujan on a steal attempt of second base in the sixth inning.
Ryan Mountcastle went 1 for 4 with a double and scored the O’s lone run.
Felix Bautista (3-2) struck out 3 in 1.1 innings of relief to earn the win.
Jorge Lopez earned his 10th save with a 1 hit, 4 strikeout 1.1 inning performance.
