The Women's Track & Field team had quite the weekend at the Mid- South Conference Championship meet. The meet started off with a 5th place finish for the women's 4x800 meter relay team. The team consisted of Mikella Meddock (SO/Orient, Ohio), Sierra Poppell (SR), Emma Marshall (FR/Proctorville, Ohio), and Jessica Price (SR/Proctorville, Ohio). Haidyn Wamsley had a big weekend finishing 2nd in the women's high jump. Wamsley jumped a height of 1.64m. Jumping this height qualified Wamsley for the NAIA National Championship meet at the end of May. Wamsley also finished 8th in the women's long jump, jumping a length of 5.05m.
