[Men's Volleyball] No. 10 SXU Falls to No. 7 Park, 3-0, at NAIA Tournament

West Des Moines, Iowa –The No. 10 ranked Saint Xavier University men's volleyball team (26-11/13-0 CCAC) saw its season come to an end with a 3-0 setback to No. 7 Park University (18-25, 23-25, 26-28) on Day Two of the NAIA Men's Volleyball National Championship in Pool B competition Wednesday afternoon at the MidAmerican Energy Company RecPlex in West Des Moines, Iowa. It was the second straight season that the Cougars qualified for the tournament and are one just four teams to make all three NAIA Championship Tournaments.

Sophomore opposite hitter Shane Ooms (Shorewood, Ill./Minooka Community) posted a team-high 11 kills, along with four digs and three blocks (one solo). He set the programs single-season kill record, totaling 387 on the season. Ooms passes former standout Ben Gabor (2017-20), who had 383 kills during the 2019 campaign.
