[Men's Volleyball] Grant Ooms Earns NAIA Attacker of the Week for SXU

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Senior outside hitter Grant Ooms (Shorewood, Ill./Loras/Minooka Community) was named the NAIA Attacker of the Week for No. 14 Saint Xavier University men's volleyball (15-5, 6-0 CCAC) when the awards were announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon. It is the first time in program history that a player from Saint Xavier has earned NAIA Attacker of the Week and it is the fifth time overall that someone from SXU has won NAIA Player of the Week. Former standout Jake Olsin (2017-19) earned NAIA Defender of the Week on February 18, 2019, while former NAIA All-American Aaron Kummer (2017-21) won NAIA Setter of the Week three times last season.
