[Women's Bowling] SXU Women's Bowling Reaches Semifinals at Storm Baker Challenge

Addison, Ill. – The Saint Xavier University women's bowling team finished 3rd out of 12 teams and reached the semifinals at the Storm Baker Challenge at Stardust Bowl in Addison, Ill. on January 22 & 23. On the first day the Cougars were in third, collecting 4,251 pins and earned the No. 3 seed, totaling 7,280 pins on Sunday. SXU rallied from a 21- deficit to defeat No. 6 seed Judson University (Ill.) 3-2 (171-214, 185-180, 157-167, 194-156, 207-177) in the quarterfinals. Saint Xavier was swept in the semifinals by eventual tournament champions No. 2 St. Ambrose University (Iowa), 3-0 (190-191, 187-211, 135-186).
