[Women's Basketball] Hawks Sluggish in Loss at Hope International

FULLERTON, Calif. - The San Diego Christian College Hawks returned to GSAC play with a 57-88 loss at Hope International University Saturday in Fullerton, CA. The defeat moves the Hawks to 5-10 overall and 2-5 in the conference.

The Royals scored the first 9 points of the game and never looked back, extending their lead in each of the first three quarters. Although the Hawks outscored HIU 17-10 in the final period, the 23-point deficit was too much to overcome.

Sophomore guard, Isabel Feller led SDCC with 10 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. Sophomore forward, Maddison Zugna added 9 points and 6 rebounds, and Madison Beckham and Keren Hogue tallied 7 points and 6 rebounds each.
