[Men's Soccer] Men's Soccer Loses Close Battle With Threshers, 3-1

LEAVENWORTH, Kan. – The University of Saint Mary men's soccer team hosted the Bethel Threshers on Saturday night for their last home game of the season on Senior Night. Being that the Spires were ranked in eighth place, they knew it was going to be a must-win match in order for them to qualify for the playoffs. As the game got underway, the Spires played tough in every aspect.

Although they fell behind 2-1 in the first half that didn't stop the Spires from playing hard all the way to the end. The game would go on to end 3-1 with the Threshers scoring again in the second half.
