A few prospects played, but Caleb Freeman was the only one to really do well.

It was not a very pretty game for the Glendale Desert Dogs, and for three of the four White Sox prospects used in the game.

First off, the hitting, which was blanked in the 12-0 loss.

Yolbert Sánchez started the game, which was his first in awhile. He did not take advantage of the moment, with an 0-for-3 performances that included a strikeout. He did participate in two double plays on defense, though, so the fielding was OK. Yoelqui Céspedes might have had his worst game from the plate. He went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts. He really has been overmatched in the AFL.

On the pitching side, the White Sox woes continued with McKinley Moore. He only lasted two-thirds of an inning and allowed two runs. The Desert Dogs were already down 5-0 at this point, but Moore did not help anything.

Caleb Freeman was the last White Sox player used, and he did the best. He threw a perfect sixth inning with a strikeout, so there’s that at least.
