[Cross Country] Both Teams Break Team Time Records, Armendariz Breaks School Record
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The University of Saint Mary men's and women's cross country teams traveled up to Grand Rapids, Michigan this weekend for the Great Lakes Challenge. The Spires were entered in both Maroon races and White races. The men and women's Maroon race consisted of the top NAIA teams in the nation, where the White race consisted of the top NAIA schools B-Teams and other NAIA schools.
The Spires Men's team was able to walk away with a runner-up finish in the Maroon race and a team title in the White race, while the Spire women finished with a 4th overall placement in the Maroon race. The women did not have a full team in the White race so they couldn't be scored, but still ran well!
