[Women's Soccer] Early goal the difference in road setback
Georgetown College women's soccer took to the pitch for the start of the fall 2021 season Saturday in Tennessee. The Tigers (0-1) played right with host Tennessee Wesleyan University, but the Bulldogs (1-1) netted a shot in the 17th minute and held on 1-0.
A free kick restart gave TWU all the offense it needed as Natalie Feaster scored off a Malene Duus pass. GC's Kacy Zimmerman played all 90 minutes in the goal, stopping the three other shots she faced.
Georgetown's offense managed eight shots, four on frame, led by Libby Miller's two shots. Both of her shots were on target. Carson Smith and Nicole Alig also added shots on frame.
