Shawnee State women's outdoor track and field ace runner Jessica Price capped off the 2021 season for the program in style, notching a fourth-place finish in the 1,500 meter run to obtain NAIA All-American honors for the second time in a three-day span.
Price, who ran a 4:35.18 to claim her fourth-place finish, finished less than a second back of her personal best time of 4:34.27 set just over three weeks ago at the Liberty Twilight Qualifier. The Proctorville native only finished behind Huntington (Ind.) runners Emma Wilson and Aspen Dirr (4:28.60 and 4:32.09) and St. Francis (Ill.)'s Sabrina Baftiri, who posted a 4:33.79.
