Matt Olson is not in the starting lineup for the Athletics due to an eye injury, RotoWire reports. Olson suffered the injury in batting practice Thursday when a foul clanked off the batting cage and hit him in the eye. Olson is not expected to need an injury list assignment and may also be out of the lineup because the Athletics are facing John Means, a left-handed starter.

Mitch Haniger of the Mariners is back in the lineup, RotoWire reports. Haniger had missed the past two games due to general soreness and fatigue.

The Reds have placed Jonathan India on the injured list, RotoWire reports. There is no word yet as to the reason for this placement. India was hit in the head by a pitch last weekend but returned to play earlier this week. This placement could also be COVID-related, but that is pure speculation at this point.

The Padres have placed Chris Paddack on the injury list, RotoWire Reports. Like India, no reason was given here, so this placement could once again be COVID-related.

Kole Calhoun of the Diamondbacks has undergone surgery on his Achilles heel, RotoWire reports. Calhoun had his left semitendinosus tendon repaired and is expected to be out of the line for 3-6 months.
