78 Basketball Academy: Outdoor Summer Clinics for 9-15 year olds, Registration Now Open
78 Basketball Summer Clinics is hosting its second outdoor summer basketball clinics. These co-ed and girls-only week-long clinics are open to players 9-15 years old (age as of 8/31/21).
There will be five weekly clinics that will run Monday through Friday. Each day will offer two separate sessions, beginning from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, and 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM.
Each day involves different learning experiences for those new to the sport, and/or looking to reinforce their skills. Participants will be placed in a supportive, but competitive, atmosphere. Players will be taught basketball fundamentals, and strategies through a variety of basic and advanced drills, half-court play, and refereed scrimmages. Players will also compete in a series of different competitions that reinforce skills learned throughout the clinic.
At this time all five sessions are open for registration, starting the week of June 28 through the week of July 30. The fee for the clinics is $250. Multi-week discounts are available, $25 after the first registered week.
The clinics will be held at the Washington Park Basketball courts located behind M.S. 51 (350 5th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11215). Registrants will receive detailed information the week prior to the clinic start date.
Water will be available to the athletes to keep them cool, hydrated, and performing at their best.
Openings are limited and the program fills up quickly, so register now to ensure a spot.
