[Women's Tennis] SAU gets conference win at IU South Bend

St. Ambrose earned its first conference win of the spring by sweeping Indiana South Bend Saturday 7-0.

The Bees dropped a total of just 13 games in singles play. Neither Kiersten Housenga at No. 2 singles nor Kaylee Camp at No. 4 dropped a single game in their 6-0, 6-0 victories.

Lily Malas was a 6-2, 6-0 winner at No. 5 singles. Meg Chadick won 6-3, 6-2 at No. 1. In the closest match of the day, Megan Schueneman picked up a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 3 singles.

Kelsey Jaeger won her match at No. 6 by default.

SAU also breezed through doubles play.

Chadick and Housenga won 6-2 at No. 1 and Schueneman and Camp won by an identical 6-2 score at No. 2. The No. 3 team of Malas and Jaeger won by default.

The Bees, now 4-6 overall and 1-2 in the CCAC, will host Holy Cross next Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
