DeMar DeRozan Ruled out Sunday

0 4

DeMar DeRozan will miss his second straight game, sitting out of the San Antonio Spurs matchup with the Philadelphia 76ers Sunday. DeRozan has missed time due to personal reasons, last playing in a March 10 115-104 loss to the Dallas Mavericks. He played 37 minutes, scoring 30 points and 11 assists.

An essential piece to the Spurs rotation, DeRozan has played 30 games this season, averaging 34 minutes, 20 points, five rebounds and seven assists. He also leads the team in usage, with a 23.8% usage rate.

Expect Derrick White to see an increase in production alongside Dejounte Murray with DeRozan out. In 101 minutes this season, White has a 27.1% usage rate and scores 1.05 fantasy points per minute.

The 76ers rank in the bottom ten in opponent scoring, allowing 110.7 points to opposing teams per game and play at the seventh-fastest pace in the league, averaging 101 possessions per game.

The Spurs, with a 19-15 record, lead the Southwest Division. They are +16000 to win the NBA Championship on FanDuel Sportsbook.
