Several Spurs Return to Practice Tuesday
Several San Antonio Spurs members returned to practice Tuesday after missing time due to the league’s health and safety protocol.
Rudy Gay and Derrick White are eligible to play in the San Antonio Spurs matchup with the Dallas Mavericks. The three have not played since the Spurs’ Feb. 14. 122-110 win against the Charlotte Hornets.
Derrick White’s return should boost the Spurs’ production. Returning to action on Jan. 30 due to a toe injury, White has played in eight games this season, averaging 24 minutes, scoring 12 points, two rebounds and four assists per game.
LaMarcus Aldridge should return to the Spurs’ rotation after recovering from an illness. Seeing a decreased role this season due to a hip injury, Aldridge last played in a Mar. 1 124-113 loss to the Brooklyn Nets, playing from off the bench. In 21 games this season, he has averaged 26 minutes, scoring 14 points, four rebounds and two assists per game.
The Spurs are a 4.5-point road underdog against the Dallas Mavericks on FanDuel Sportsbook in a game with a 221 total.
