Steven Adams Doubtful Friday Night
The New Orleans Pelicans PR provided an update on Steven Adams ahead of the Pelicans game against the Phoenix Suns Friday night. Adams’ participation is doubtful as he is resolving a right ankle sprain.
Adams has been a mainstay in the Pelicans lineup, starting 27 of the team’s 28 games this season, getting it done on both ends of the court. He ranks tied for second in defensive win shares and is third on the team in offensive win shares, as per Basketball-Reference. Adams has been a modest contributor from a fantasy perspective, averaging 24.7 FanDuel Fantasy Points per game.
Jaxson Hayes started in place of Adams in the lone game he missed, putting up seven points and four rebounds in 11 minutes of action.
The Pels are 2 point underdogs tomorrow night against the Suns with a total set at 229.
