High A Projected Roster - 2021 Lake County Captains

The purpose of this projection is to get an idea of likely placements for Prospects That Matter At Least A Little Bit. I haven't included relievers except for a note or two.

2021 High-A Lake County Captains - Projected

1B: U Cantu/J Laureano.

2B: J Fermin/M Gonzalez.

SS: B Rocchio/T Friis. Aggressive promotion for Rocchio, but he will not be overmatched and there is a queue at SS behind him.

3B: R Delgado. Will get playing time all over.

C: B Naylor/M Rivera.

RF: W Benson. Needs to adjust to high-A pitching before AA debut.

LF: G Valera. Aggressive promotion, will see time in CF as well.

CF: Q Holmes/C Farhat. Big test for Holmes after desultory showing at low-A in 2019.

SP: T Burns, L Allen, M Hickman, J Mota, A Royalty.

The older college draftees get the nod for high-A rotation.
