[Women's Soccer] Steinkamp named AAC Offensive Player of the Week

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Zoe Frenier of Montreat and Zoie Steinkamp of St. Andrews are the Appalachian Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the seventh edition of the weekly honors for the 2020 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Nov. 9.

AAC Offensive Player of the Week

Zoie Steinkamp - St. Andrews - Fr. - Foster, R.I.

Tallied all of St. Andrews' goals this week as the Knights went 2-0.

Posted the game's only goal in the 1-0 win over Columbia.

Struck twice in the 2-1 win over Point.

This is her first weekly award this season.

AAC Defensive Player of the Week

Zoe Frenier - Montreat - Soph. - Orlando, Fla.

Helped anchor a defense that posted back-to-back shutouts, helping Montreat go 2-0 on the week.

Scored the game-winning goal in the 3-0 win over Bluefield.

Helped hold Bluefield without a single shot.

Montreat has 7 shutouts on the year.

This is her first weekly honor this season.
