ALC Volleyball Wins on Road Trip
On Friday, October 30, the Alice Lloyd College Lady Eagles volleyball squad traveled to North Carolina to face home-standing Carolina University. They followed that up the next day by venturing to West Virginia to battle Appalachian Bible.

In the opening game, the Eagles stayed close early before bowing 25-15. In game 2, CU looked impressive as they controlled the game, 25-13.
In game 3, the Eagles fought hard but Carolina pulled away to seal the deal, 25-15.
On the day for ALC, sophomore Reiley McCoy led with 5 kills. Fellow sophomore Adrianna Riley contributed 18 digs to the club. Freshman Caroline Parsons recorded 4 assists, while junior Jasmine Hamilton led the squad with 3 blocks.

In the second match, the Eagles battled hard in Game 1 before ABC took over late to win 25-22. In Game 2, the visitors steadily moved ahead to win with a 25-13 victory.
In Game 3, ALC was impressive as they grabbed the early advantage and extended it for the solid 25-7 win. In Game 4, the hosts gave a good fight early but the Lady Eagles grabbed the advantage and extended it for the clinching 25-17 win.
On the day for ALC, sophomores Reiley McCoy and Callie Richardson led with 11 kills apiece while classmate Adrianna Riley contributed 23 digs to the club. Freshmen Caroline Parsons and Kristen Isaac recorded 19 and 14 assists, while Richardson led the squad with 4 blocks,
