ANOTHER last-minute gamethread! The Rays try to go up, 2-0, and cross fingers for a long NL series
Bad, bad Hamster. The Renteria news threw me off, but then I saw no actual WHERE IS THE GAMETHREAD comments yet, so I guess I dodged a bullet for six innings.
Game 2 of the ALCS is going Tampa’s way so far, with Manuel Margot taking a star turn with a three-run shot and killer catch in right, and the Rays lead, 3-1.
Later, the Dodgers and Atlanta face off in a series heavily-tilted to L.A. Max Fried takes on Walker Buehler tonight at 7 p.m. on FOX.
