[Baseball] Biery Tabbed as Friends Baseball Graduate Assistant Intern Coach

WICHITA, Kan. – Friends University baseball head coach Adam Neisius has announced the addition of Zach Biery as the program's new graduate assistant intern coach.

No stranger to the program, Biery recently served a three-year tenure as an assistant coach on Neisius's staff.

"We're excited to have Coach Biery re-joining our program, he was with us from 2015-2017 as our pitching coach and played a major role in recruiting," Neisius said.

Collegiately, Biery pitched at Hutchinson Community College and Newman University before serving as a student assistant coach at NU in 2012.

"Coach Biery brings coaching experience at all positions, a solid presence for all of our players, and a wealth of recruiting experience and contacts," Neisius said. "We're grateful to have him and his family back in Wichita - he will be a great addition to our program."
