[Women's Lacrosse] Tigers release 2020 schedule

Georgetown College lacrosse will not be hiding from anyone with its 2020 schedule of 13 games – eight of the 10 NAIA teams were ranked or receiving votes in the final poll, while three teams are NCAA opponents. It is a balance of road and home games, with seven being played in the friendly confines of Toyota Stadium.

It all starts early February as the Tigers, which finished ranked 9th, head to Rome, Ga. for a pair of games. First up NCAA Division II Shorter University, which used to be an NAIA and Mid-South Conference affiliate member before making the switch to NCAA in 2012. GC finishes that swing against NCAA DIII Berry College. The Tigers beat Berry in its only other meeting this past year.

Sprinkle in a few more non-conference games, including home opener against No. 7 Lawrence Tech – series is locked at 3-3 and game is set for Feb. 21 at Toyota Stadium – before Mid-South Conference action gets underway.
