[Women's Basketball] Ladies pick up first win of season over Kalamazoo

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Apparently a little time home with family and some a big turkey dinner was all the Calumet College of St. Joseph women's basketball team needed to pick up their first win over the 2019-20 season. The Wave returned from break early and headed north to Kalamazoo College on Saturday, Nov. 30 for a non-conference matchup with the Hornets. Finding themselves down after the opening quarter, the Wave bounced back in the second to take a 30-21 lead into the half. Steady offense, led by Shakeana Clark (JR/Apopka, Fla.)'s 17 points, lifted CCSJ to a 57-55 win. Clark also pulled in a team-leading 12 rebounds.
