Juan Soto and Pete Alonso have won Silver Sluggers for the 2025 season. This is the first Silver Slugger for Alonso, who won the honor over Freddie Freeman and Matt Olson, while Soto earns the honor for the sixth time in his career.
Today at 5:00 PM was the deadline for teams to extend qualifying offers to their free agents – a one-year deal worth $22.025 million. Most players are expected to decline the offer – just 14 of 114 recipients have accepted it in the past.
