After game one on Saturday against the Washington Nationals, the New York Mets announced that outfielder Brandon Nimmo was placed on the 10-day injured list with a right hamstring strain. Early in the game Nimmo exited with hamstring tightness after pulling up during a run from second to third.

The Oakland A’s took perhaps their worst loss of the season last night, blowing an 8-2 lead in the 8th inning, and then taking a 10-8 lead in the 9th and blowing that too on a walk-off homer by their own former teammate Marcus Semien.
Brandon Nimmo left Game 1 of Saturday’s game with right hamstring tightness, the Mets says. Nimmo suffered the injury when running out a Francisco Lindor groundout to end the top of the second inning.
Hedges is actually hitting better since the All-Star break, but honestly, this is just a pick for those desperate for a healthy catcher in a deep AL-only league. We'll give him this: he's having the best baserunning season of his career.
