Doane Track and Field closed the 2019 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday in Gulf Shores, Alabama, by adding four All-American performances to their championship appearance.

The day opened with Kate Grint (JR/Ord, Neb.) adding her second All-American performance of the meet. On Saturday, she posted a third place finish in the discus after placing in the shot put on Friday. Grint is the first Tiger to place in the discus since 2014 after she hit a top throw of 44.13m/144-09.

In the women's high jump, Alexis Dale (JR/Ravenna, Neb.) finished with a fourth place finish after clearing a height of 1.67m/5-05.75. It marks her first outdoor All-American performance. She earned All-American honors in the high jump earlier this year during the indoor season as well.

Shay Brown (SR/Roca, Neb.) tied for fifth in the women's high jump, also clearing 1.67m/5-05.75. Brown is a repeat performer in the event after clearing 1.68m a year ago. She is the first Tiger to go back-to-back in the outdoor high jump since Tiffany Ferguson did so in three straight from 2001-02-03.

The day was capped in the men's pole vault as Zach Muff (FR/Crete, Neb.) earned his first All-American performance. He cleared a height of 4.85m/15-11.00 to place fifth overall. Muff is the first Doane freshman to earn All-American honors in the pole vault since Andy Tatum did in 2013.

The Doane women finished with 27 points and placed 8th overall while the men posted eight points and tied for 33rd overall in the championship meet.
