[Wrestling] Wrestling rolls past Brewton-Parker 39-8 on Monday

MT. VERNON, Ga. – The Lindsey Wilson wrestling team defeated Brewton-Parker (Ga.) on Monday morning at Gillis Gymnasium by a final score of 39-8 in Mid-South Conference action. The Blue Raiders were able to win eight of ten matches during the dual as they won three via pin falls, one on a major decision and a technical fall, two by decisions and one on a Baron forfeit.

Lindsey Wilson was able to jump out to a quick 22-0 lead as they were able to win the first five consecutive matches of the dual. Brewton-Parker was unable to send out a wrestler to start the match at 125-pounds giving LWC an early 6-0 advantage and Brady Moser (No. 13 at 133) then doubled the lead to 12 points when he pinned Lucas Nelson (No. 19 at 125) in 2:30.
