[Volleyball] Knights Women's Volleyball Defeat the Rams Twice In One Week

KNIGHTS WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL DEFEAT THE RAMS TWICE IN ONE WEEK

COLUMBIA, SC – The St. Andrews University women's volleyball team, for the second time in a week, squared off this past Tuesday night, October 9th, against the first year Columbia International University Rams from Columbia, South Carolina.  In another Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) match up, the Knights came away with its second straight victory over the Rams by the final match score of 3-2 with the individual game scores of 15-25, 25-15, 21-25 25-19 and 16-14. 

 

Kaylah Sloop (FR/Mount Pleasant, NC) led the Knights with 14 kills and four blocks.  Also contributing were Kellie Price (JR/Oxford, NC) with 10 kills, Lily Allen (JR/Four Oaks, NC) with four aces and 10 defensive digs, and Karina Lozada (SO/Bayamon, Puerto Rico) with 19 defensive digs.   

 

The Knights' (6-10/3-5) next action will be Wednesday, October 17th at Brenau University in Gainesville, GA for a 6:30 p.m. AAC match.   The next home game will be Friday, October 19th at 6:30 p.m. against AAC foe Tennessee Wesleyan University from Athens, Tennessee.
