[Football] Football Hosts Trinity Bible (N.D.) on Saturday

MARION, Ind. – Indiana Wesleyan University returns to Wildcat Stadium at noon this Saturday for the third game in program history. IWU is fresh off its first win in program history, a 61-6 drubbing at Anderson (Ind.) last Saturday, and looks to pick up the first home win against Trinity Bible (N.D.).


GETTING OFFENSIVE

The Wildcat run game was on full display at Anderson (Ind.) with 506 yards on the ground. Three Wildcats earned 100+ yards rushing with Devodney Alford (186), Joshua McKenzie (177), and Tyrell Phelps (146).


DEFENSIVE PRESSURE

The Indiana Wesleyan defense matched the impressive offensive output on Saturday. Anderson managed a mere 48 yards of total offense and had just 4 first downs. IWU lost the shutout in the fourth quarter on a punt attempt.


START OF A HOMESTAND

Indiana Wesleyan plays four of its first five games of the season at home. Saturday’s game vs. Trinity Bible is the first of three straight games at Wildcat Stadium.


TRINITY BIBLE

Trinity Bible is located in Ellendale, North Dakota and is 884 miles from Marion. The Lions are 0-2 this season. TBC lost 56-0 at home to Culver-Stockton (Mo.) and 46-0 on the road at NCAA DIII Grinnell (Iowa).
