[Women's Soccer] SAC Gives Out Season's First Women's Soccer Players of Week

OKLAHOMA CITY – The first Sooner Athletic Conference women's soccer weekly honors of 2018 go to Science & Arts of Oklahoma's Emma Rice, who became the offensive player of the week, and John Brown's Caitlyn Logan, who is the defensive player of the week.

Rice, a freshman forward from Norman, Okla., knocked in the winning goal on a penalty kick in a double-overtime win over Mobile (Ala.) on Saturday in an away contest. Mobile, ranked fifth in the NAIA, was whistled for a handball within the box to award USAO the PK. Rice had the Drovers' only score against fourth-rated William Carey (Miss.) on Thursday in Hattiesburg, Miss., in a 4-1 loss.
