WICHITA, Kan. – The Friends University Men's Soccer Falcons have been picked to finish third this season in the 2018 KCAC Preseason Coaches' Poll, the league released today (Aug. 10).

The Falcons are coming off a 9-2 mark in the league last year that placed them in a tie for the second spot.

The Oklahoma Wesleyan University Eagles, following an undefeated conference season, have been picked to win the league again this season after receiving the maximum 12 first-place votes.

McPherson College was chosen second, followed by the Falcons, who received the other first-place tally.

Kansas Wesleyan University and Ottawa University rounded out the top five of the poll.

The Falcons, under 13-year head coach Nathan Wilkey, are set to bring back a solid group of returners, including last year's leading goal scorer, Luis Vidal Pla.
