History Colorado welcomes Rocky Mountain SABR board member Greg Petty and Roger Kinney, the former Director of the Colorado Baseball Commission, the first employee the Colorado Rockies, and former executive director of the Colorado Rockies Baseball Club Foundation.  They will share the stories of how Major League Baseball came to Colorado with a panel, including Irv Moss, sportswriter for the Denver Post since the 1950s.  

They will describe how after 30 years Denver finally convinced MLB it would have enough good weather, fan support, acceptable ownership with sufficient resources, and funds to build a baseball-only stadium to support a team here — the Colorado Rockies.

Tickets are $4 for museum members, $5 for non-members.
