[Baseball] Kokomo surprises RedStorm with sweep

    RIO GRANDE, Ohio - Apparently, the Indiana University Kokomo baseball team didn't get the memo about being a first-year program that hasn't fared well away from home.
    Unfortunately, for the University of Rio Grande, that failed realization came against the RedStorm.
    The upstart Cougars rallied late and held on for a 7-6 game one victory before posting a 9-1 rout in game two and recording a surprise River States Conference sweep of their hosts, Saturday afternoon, at a sun-splashed, yet cool Bob Evans Field.
    IU Kokomo, which entered the twin bill with just one win in nine previous road outings, improved to 17-15-1 overall and 6-8 in league play with the victories.
    Rio Grande dropped to 14-19 overall and 8-6 in the RSC with the losses.
