[Women's Outdoor Track & Field] Outdoor Track Competes at UNCP Classic

PEMBROKE, NC - The St. Andrews University Men's & Women's Outdoor Track and Field teams competed in the D-2 Individual UNC-Pembroke Classic this past Friday and Saturday at nearby Pembroke.On the women's side, senior Hannah Biddle (SR/Blue Bell, PA) led the Lady Knights by finishing 8th in the 800 meters in a time of 2:46. Biddle then placed 11th in the 1500 meters in a time of 5:35.

In the Sprints, Junior Sanita Edwards (JR/Westmoreland, Jamaica) then placed 19th in the 100 meters in a time of 13.7 seconds while she was 14th in the 200 meters in 29 seconds.

Junior Nina Havelka (JR/Charlotte, NC), pictured below, also competed in the 400 meters with a time of 1:07.9 to place 10th overall.

The teams are next competing as individuals at the Trojans Challenge at Mount Olive College (N.C.) on Saturday.
