[Men's Basketball] Williamson Goes 2-0 on Virginia Road Trip

Williamson used four players in double-figures to take care of business on the second leg of a two-day Virginia road trip, with a 55-48 win over Christendom College.

The teams played a low scoring first half with Williamson holding the Crusaders to 33% shooting and just 8 points, in grabbing a 24-18 lead at the break.  Though Christendom would make a run in the second half, Williamson was able to hold off the hosts to win their second straight game, in moving to 10-11 on the year.

Kyree Freeman (JR/Glenarden, MD) had 13 points and three assists, Gus Pagan (JR/Prospect Park, PA) added 12 points and nine rebounds and Jose Montanez added 11 points and nine rebounds as well to lead Williamson.  Freshman Da'Shawn Chambliss (FR/Camden, NJ) had his best game to date as he shot 4-5 from the field in chipping in with 10 points.

Williamson has several days off before they hit a stretch where they take on three nationally ranked Top 10 teams in four days, beginning Friday night at Central Penn, in a game that was re-scheduled from February 24.
