[Men's Bowling] Pavy Named Mid-South Player of the Week

COLUMBIA, Ky. – Martin Methodist's (Tenn.) Israel Pavy is the Mid-South Conference Men's Bowler of the Week, conference officials announced on Tuesday.

Houchens Industries is the proud sponsor of the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Houchens Industries was founded in 1917 and is one of the largest employee-owned companies in the United States with more than 18,000 corporate-wide employees.

Israel Pavy – Martin Methodist (Tenn.) – Fr. – Madison, Ind.

Pavy led the Redhawks to a first-place finish at the Martin Methodist Baker Classic this weekend.

Pavy was the top bowler on the Baker team that knocked down a total of 7,719 pins.

Matin Methodist tallied 20 more pins than the second-place finisher, Pikeville (Ky.).

Pavy earns his fist bowler of the week honor of his career.
