NORTH CANTON, Ohio – The Trevecca Nazarene University women's soccer team (4-1-2, 2-1-2 G-MAC), defeated Great Midwest Athletic Conference foe Malone University (2-3-2, 0-2-2 G-MAC) 5-0 at Pro Football Hall of Fame's Legacy Sports Complex on Saturday.

Hannah Barney (SR/Mission Viejo, CA) connected on her first goal of the season when a pass from Diana Corzine (SR/Plant City, FL) got the Trojans on the board in the 13th minute. Payton Atwell (JR/Clarksville, TN) would score an unassisted goal in the 34th minute to give the Trojans a two-goal advantage at the half. In the 58th minute Lydia Ogorodnik would put the Trojans up three, the goal was her second of the season and was assisted by Maddie Little (SR/Charlotte, N.C.). Courtney Dyer (SR/Seymour, TN) scored two goals in consecutive minutes to give the Trojans full control of the match. Dyer's goals in the 68th and 69th minute gives her four goals on the season, which currently ranks fourth in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.

This will be the eighth meeting between the two teams in the NCAA era. TNU has a 6-0-1 advantage in the series earning a 1-1 tie on September 14 at Trojan Soccer Complex earlier this year.
