[Football] Freshman Jack Gibson Named USCAA National Football Player of the Week

Williamson freshman cornerback Jack Gibson (FR/Rutledge, PA), who intercepted three passes in his first collegiate game this past Saturday, was named the USCAA National Football Player of the Week for his performance.    His two interceptions in the final three minutes of play helped seal Williamson's 12-10 win over Jersey Coast Academy this past Saturday.  

In addition to the picks, Gibson also had three tackles and two passes defended.  His three interceptions is a game tied the school record held by Jim Sharkey (1992), Kevin Anderson (1992), Shane Coyle (2008) and Brandon Williams (2105).

Williamson next takes on Gattaca College this Saturday in a 1:00 P.M> start on the Williamson campus.
