[Men's Golf] Evangels in Eighth After Day One at SAC Tournament

4.19.10 - Ardmore, Okla.- The Mid-America Christian University golf team sits in eighth place after the first day of competition at the Sooner Athletic Conference men's golf championships Monday at Dornick Hills Golf and Country Club.
No. 1 Oklahoma City University holds the top spot with a 549 two-round total finishing eight strokes ahead of eighth-ranked Southern Nazarene University.
The Evangels have a team score of 618, 12 strokes ahead of John Brown University.
James Wiginton leads the Evangels carding a 70 and a 78, tied for 29th.
Karl Griffith posted an 80 and a 71 good enough for a tie for 35th place.
Matt Costilow is in 43rd after shooting an 81 and a 76.
Cody Mosley and Jacob McElhany round out the five tied for 49th with a 163 two-round total.
The final round begins with a 7:45 a.m. modified shotgun start Tuesday at Dornick Hills.
