The Ultimate Plan for this trade deadline
With the Brewers, Rockies, Dbacks and Braves playing well and in the hunt we are now reaching critical mass in the Q derby. This is literally the best possible scenario and Hahn will make out like a bandit if he sticks to his guns.
First of all we need to figure out what the Sox need then go from their. I think the goal at the deadline should be 2 impact bats, 1 in the OF and 1 Corner IF, with the rest of what we get back younger players in A ball or lower with upside. 1 of the bats has to be in the Q trade with the other coming via Drob.
1. Nationals Trade gets done first with the aim at overpaying if need be so you can maximize the Q deal
DRob and Kahnle to Washington ( We pay Drobs contract next year)
Soto and Kieboom to SOX
2. Boston Red Sox need a 3b to keep Devers in minors till next year for a seamless transition
T Frazier to BOSOX
M Chavis to GOOD SOX
3. At this point we have the possible impact bats we need in the minors and can accept the best deal for Q regardless of position, still asking for the central piece to be a bat. I see the teams that need him the most if still in the hunt in order are teams that dont want to face a 1 game playoff and teams that need rotation help in playoffs
