Stanton, Braves hold Pirates to one hit, earn win
DANVILLE, Va. - Three first inning runs proved to be enough to lift Danville past the Pirates and even the series Thursday night. The Braves secured the 3-0 victory in large part due to a strong outing from starting pitcher Cameron Stanton, who pitched 5.2 innings of one-hit ball, and the Braves bullpen.
