Strahm Optioned to Omaha in Flurry of Moves

Left-hander Matt Strahm, rated by Baseball America as the second-best prospect in the Royals organization prior to this season, has been optioned to Omaha from Kansas City. Strahm split last season between Double-A Northwest Arkansas and Kansas City, including a 2-2 record and 1.23 ERA (3 ER/22.0 IP) in 21 appearances with the Royals. Over his 22 outings (18 starts) with the Naturals, he compiled a 3-8 clip and 3.43 ERA (39 ER/102.1 IP) with 107 strikeouts.
