Cubs out-mash Lugnuts in Wednesday matinee
LANSING, Mich. - Zack Short reached base six times in seven plate appearances, Vimael Machin homered and drove in five runs, and the South Bend Cubs (12-8) defeated the Lansing Lugnuts (10-10), 14-9, on Wednesday afternoon at Cooley Law School Stadium.
