Under-12 Baseball World Cup Day 1 Results

Both European teams and Africa’s representative took losses on Day of the Under-12 Baseball World Cup. In Group A, Japan bested Germany 17-0. In Group B, the Czech Republic hung tough against the Dominican Republic, entering the game’s final inning tied 8-8, before eventually going down 14-8. Later, South Korea dispatched South Africa, 17-0.

Other Group A winners included Mexico, 10-0 over Australia, and hosts Taiwan, which survived a late rally by Cuba to win 6-3. The other result was U.S.A. over Panamá, 8-2, in Group B.
